The team at Dreamworks Motorsports worked closely with Ball to design a unique exterior and interior that perfectly embodies the style and essence of the "Puma LaMelo Ball MB.01" shoes.

LaMelo Ball's passion for automobiles is no secret, and his partnership with Dreamworks Motorsports was a match made in heaven. The collaboration between Ball and the customization experts at Dreamworks Motorsports has resulted in a one-of-a-kind GMC Hummer EV that stands out as a true automotive masterpiece, inspired by the iconic "Puma LaMelo Ball MB.01" shoes.
LaMelo Ball's custom 2022 GMC Hummer EV Edition 1, meticulously designed and crafted by Dreamworks Motorsports, received a series of impressive modifications that elevate it to a true automotive masterpiece. Here's a summary of the key enhancements:
Wrap.
The vehicle features a unique, striking digital desert camo 3M wrap with vibrant orange topography lines. The design of the exterior wrap was influenced by the features and colorway of the MB.01 and paying homage to the rugged design of the Hummer namesake. The door jambs are wrapped in a matching color palette and feature some of LaMelo’s actual tattoos. It creates a cool look when the doors are open and adds a personal connection to the owner.
Interior:
Inside, the vehicle boasts a luxurious orange leather interior and LaFrance patterned Alcantara inserts. Custom stitching and LED-lit logos adorn the seats while a glass showcase in the center console proudly displays Puma's MB.01 shoe perched on a hardwood basketball court base with ambient lighting to illuminate the entire case. Leather and Alcantara wrap the door panels while multi-color LED-lit LaFrance logos add a pop of color. The Alcantara treatment extends to the dash, steering wheel, and center console, while gloss black accents break up the sea of orange. One-off floor mats featuring LaMelo’s 1-of1 logo complete the interior customization.
Audio.
The fully upgraded audio system is powered by JL Audio amplifiers complemented by all new speakers running through Stinger wire and interconnects. It boasts a one-off custom enclosure finished in matching Alcantara and housing four JL Audio 10TW3 subwoofers with LED-lit panels that are wrapped in matching digital camo for an immersive audio experience.
Tint.
Suntek Window Film is added to all windows to provide privacy and protection while enhancing the overall aesthetic.
Wheels and Tires:
Rolling stock for the Hummer is a set of 24X12 DW Forged one-off design wheels with color-matched beadlock rings and HD bolts on the face of the wheel to create a solid look that complements the overall design of the vehicle. Kap King center caps feature a floating 1-of-1 logo, while Gladiator X-Comp Tires provide the grip. A lift kit enhances the Hummer's off-road capabilities and adds to the overall aesthetics as well as allowing LaMelo to conquer rugged terrains.
Paint.
PPG custom mixed paint is added to exterior emblems and accent parts to complement the overall theme of the vehicle.
Body:
Hand-fabricated and LED-lit sail panels with LF logos, custom-lit Rare logos, and other color-matched custom logos enhance the vehicle's exterior while adding a personal connection to LaMelo. A power sliding bedcover adds convenience and style. A Hornblasters train horn package keeps other drivers aware of the Hummer’s presence while a PA system allows the driver to have a little fun.
Lighting:
The Hummer is equipped with under-seat and dash LED accent lighting as well as LED lighting for the subwoofer enclosure, door panels, and seat logos. Multicolor LEDs under the body and fenders along with puddle lights featuring LF logos and a lit underhood panel make a distinctive statement.
